FizzDisk is a modern backup tool for Windows. Back up your Blu-ray UHD movies, DVDs and music discs — scan every title and stream and save them losslessly to MKV and FLAC with no effort, all in seconds. Fully standalone: its own disc parsers, bundled decryption and ffmpeg, nothing else to install.
No sorting, no typing. FizzDisk fetches the movie title, year and poster from the disc,
names your files Title (Year), saves the poster alongside — and drops every backup
into a Jellyfin-ready folder structure automatically, so it's ready to stream
with zero manual organizing.
FizzDisk is fully self-contained — its own disc parsers, its own decryption libraries and a bundled ffmpeg. No commercial tools, no installed runtimes, no accounts. Download, run, back up.
Blu-ray, UHD 4K, DVD and music discs — a real drive, an ISO image, a VIDEO_TS/BDMV folder, or a single media file.
Hand-written DVD IFO (TT_SRPT/VTS_PGCIT) and Blu-ray MPLS playlist parsers scan the disc structure from scratch — no other project's parser code.
Video, audio and subtitle tracks per title with codec, language, resolution and quality — so you know exactly what you're backing up.
Stream-copy by default: fast backups, zero quality loss. Uncheck the box to re-encode (H.264 / x264 / AAC) when you want smaller files.
Protected discs are no obstacle. Bundled libaacs, libbluray and keydb decrypt AACS Blu-ray out of the box — no external decoder required.
FizzDisk automatically pulls the movie title, year and poster, names your files Title (Year), and saves every backup into a Jellyfin-ready folder structure automatically. No manual typing or organizing.
Choose a drive letter, ISO, folder or file and click Scan.

Prefer scripting? The bundled CLI does the same: python -m fizzdisk.cli scan "D:\" and python -m fizzdisk.cli mux "D:\" --title 5 --out "C:\Users\Abba\Videos".
Fully standalone and portable — Python, ffmpeg and VC++ runtimes are all
bundled. Run the FizzDisk.exe and back up. Just clone the source (Python 3.8+)
if you'd rather run from code.
bin\Minimal requirements: Windows 10/11. (Python 3.8+ only needed to run from source.)
